🎵 About Loom

Loom turns simple digital seeds into deep, textured musical compositions. You do not need musical expertise to build tracks. The app handles the complex arrangement of MIDI notes while you choose the mood. It focuses on dark, atmospheric sounds that change over time.

The software creates movement within your songs. Many instruments sound static, but Loom mimics the growth of real sound. It works well for film scores, background ambience, or experimental music projects.

💻 System Requirements

⬇️ Install and Setup

Follow these steps to get Loom running on your Windows computer:

  1. Visit this page to download the latest setup file: Download Loom Here.
  2. Locate the downloaded file in your browser's download folder.
  3. Double-click the installer icon.
  4. Accept the prompts on your screen to place the app on your computer.
  5. Open your music software (DAW).
  6. Scan for new plugins in your software settings.
  7. Select Loom from your instrument list.

⚙️ How to use

Once you load the plugin, you see a single input field for the seed. Type a short word or phrase into this box. The software generates a unique musical logic based on the letters you typed. Click the regenerate button if you want a different result.

Adjust the density dial to determine how many notes play at once. Move the evolution slider to control how quickly the track changes. You can record the output directly into your host software tracks.

Use the global transpose knob to change the root harmony of your piece instantly. This feature ensures your instruments stay in the correct key throughout your performance.

📝 Troubleshooting

If you cannot find the plugin in your DAW, check your plugin folder paths. Ensure your DAW searches the directory where you installed the plugin. You might need to restart your computer after the install for the system to recognize the new files.

If the sound crackles, increase your buffer size in your audio settings. High-quality audio processing requires more CPU power from your machine. If the interface appears too small, click the settings icon in the top right corner to adjust the window scale.
